The line graph compares changes in the price of multiple types of bread from 2001 to 2005.
Overall, among those four categories, rye bread was the one with lowest price throughout the given period. The price of bread made of wholegrain increased in the first year by dropped significantly after that while the trend for the rest was upward.
In 2001, wholegrain bread’s price was highest, standing at 0.8 dollars. Its price surged to 1.9 dollars in 2002 before falling down to about 0.7 dollars in 2004. However, this kind of bread recorded a slight increase in terms of price to 0.8 dollars at the end of the period.
The other types of bread shared the same price initially, at 0.6 dollars. In 2002, the price of both brown and white bread rose to 1.5 and 1 dollar, respectively. During the following years, these figures continued its rise to 1.6 and 1.3 at the end. Regarding rye, despite minimal decrease in the first year, its price grew steadily to 0.7 dollar in 2005. Over the 5-year period, rye bread remained the cheapest one compared to other bread types.
